Solar PV yield and carbon offset
Estimate annual solar output, bill savings and avoided carbon for a rooftop or ground array.

About this tool
What it does: Estimates solar output, bill savings and carbon avoided against hospital demand.
Background: Uses a specific yield (kWh per kWdc) with annual degradation.
Benefit: Shows whether a system is sensibly sized for the hospital.
Year-t energy = kWdc × yield × (1 − degradation)^(t−1). Offset assumes all PV output is used on site. Yield source: NREL PVWatts. Not a design or interconnection study.
Planning estimate, not engineering design or professional advice. Results depend on your inputs and published factors, and are not a verified inventory, audit, guarantee of savings or net-zero claim. See the terms of use.
Independent planning estimate using published US government factors. Not endorsed by DOE, EPA, NREL or any agency. Not an audit or a verified inventory. See methods.
